Education

B.S. in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Champlain College. I graduated in May of 2015 with a GPA of 3.9/4, receiving honors. I decided to pursue my degree in education because I wanted to make a difference in children's lives and feel as though I can continue that outside of a traditional classroom.

Experience

I tutored at risk and English Language Learners for four years at a youth center (grades K-5). I also tutored college students in math at my college. I did my student teaching in a second to fifth grade class of English Language Learners and a year in a fourth grade traditional classroom. Many of the classes I took at Champlain College have prepared me to tutor. I took classes in specific content areas as well as how to teach them, and the developmental process of learning.
